Teaser questions are assigned most days and due at the start of class. They are simple, conceptual questions that are related to upcoming lecture topics. A short 5-10 minutes thinking about them should be more than enough, and they are graded only on participation: they are meant as stimulation for the reading and the lecture rather than teaching or evaluating particular knowledge.
